Equipment Description
The gripping system of an industrial robot is a vacuum suction cup design adapted for gripping all required components. It is designed individually to suit the type of the secondary consumer package (SCP).
One gripper type is capable of operating with one SCP type. It is necessary to develop and manufacture a new gripper, reconfigure the conveyor belt with an invert mechanism and replace the corrugated boxes and spacers in the magazines for the right type to readjust the system for another SCP type. Readjustment time is 30-40 minutes.
