Application

Designed for the formation of FEFCO 0201 corrugated boxes in automatic mode.

Equipment description

ARTFormer corrugated box former is produced in two versions: for integrating into the group packing cell (packer, mod. 1) or for working in standalone mode (mod. 2).

The integrated version allows stacking the product with an industrial manipulator in the forming box area. Such solution reduces the space required for group packaging equipment and allows assembling compact monoblocks comprising ARTFormer corrugated box former (mod. 1), industrial manipulator with gripper for product, forming table and other equipment.

The design of mod. 1 ARTFormer includes:

сapability to install product frames to center the box and guide the product when stacking, capability to install semi-automatic pallet magazine in case it is necessary to stack upper or lower carton spacers.

Stand-alone version ARTFormer (mod. 2) is additionally equipped with a sealing group for the bottom flaps of the box.

The design of the ARTFormer corrugated box former uses a servo drive for the box forming unit and a pneumatic drive on the assemblies that close the valves and eject the box.

The ARTFormer has a wide adjustment range. The limit dimensions of the boxes are shown in the table. To adjust the former to the formats, the handy adjustment knobs with limiter position indicators on the measuring ruler are used.

The size of the box feeding magazine can be changed based on the required standby time.
