Robotic system for palletizing of flour bags
An industrial robot with a bottom-lift gripper places bags of different sizes alternately on the two working areas. Several types of bags and two types of pallets are used in the factory.
There is no need to readjust from one product type to the other. Palletizing type is selected from the robot’s control panel.
The pallets are fed and picked up manually or with a forklift. The working area of the robot is separated from the cold storage area by partitions to maintain an optimal temperature. For pallet handling, a DoorHan quick-opening gate is provided for each working area.
The introduction of the industrial robot was caused by the difficulties in staffing the production facility during the field works.
