Robotic system for palletizing of construction mix bags
Project purpose
Automatic palletizing system provides increased output capacity of the line, reduced labor, less dependence of production on personnel problems, improved pallet appearance due to even stacking by the robot.

Project description
Robotic system for palletizing bags. Pallets from an automatic pallet magazine follow a roller conveyor to the palletizing station. A PVC bottom sheet is stacked on top of the empty pallet as it moves.
The robot’s gripper allows stacking of bags from 15kg to 50kg in various sizes. When changing to a new bag format, the gripper and the product conveying system are adjusted by the operator.
The bag conveying system includes a shaker conveyor and a flattener to prepare the bags for stacking.
When full pallets are ready, they leave the robotic cell and then are conveyed to the stretch hooding area by the Lachenmeier PowerFlex T1 and the next empty pallet arrives in its place. This keeps everything running smoothly.
Implementation result
An increase in output capacity to 700 bags per hour.
Improved marketing properties of the finished product pallet.
